A Tooele woman is facing felony charges after she allegedly stole various items, including credit cards.
Mary Elizabeth Done, 34, is charged with three counts of third-degree felony unlawful acquisition of a financial transaction card, one count of third-degree felony possession of forgery writing or device, as well as misdemeanor counts for possession or use of a controlled substance, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Done was arrested in Lake Point after officers responded to a call of three unconscious females, including Done, according to the probable cause statement from the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived, they asked Done if she had been using or if there was something illegal in the car after finding her unconscious. Done told deputies she had fallen asleep waiting for a friend, there was nothing illegal in the car and refused to let them search the vehicle.
After obtaining a warrant, deputies searched the vehicle and found three financial cards belonging to three different people, two glass pipes containing a white, crystal-like substance and 12 pills of Alprazolam, an anti-anxiety drug.
The probable cause statement said deputies also found a laptop that was reported stolen, clothing with the theft prevention tag attached and an altered temporary motor vehicle registration tag, with the month changed from May to August.
Done made her first appearance in 3rd District Court on Monday. Bail was set at $10,000 and she was appointed counsel. She is expected back before Judge Robert Adkins on Aug. 30 at 9 a.m.
